Duagon, a leading supplier of communication and control technology, has announced that its D527 Multi-Ethernet Secure Gateway can now be integrated with CylusOne, a rail-specific cybersecurity platform developed by Cylus. This collaboration aims to provide real-time threat detection, fleetwide visibility, and seamless regulatory compliance for onboard systems.
The D527 gateway meets IEC 62443 standards up to Security Level 2 and offers secure remote updates. It features an integrated firewall with a configurable packet filter that can be locked during series production, ensuring long-term protection. Additionally, the system can be tailored to specific customer applications while maintaining high security and robustness.
Miki Shifman, Chief Technology Officer at Cylus, emphasized the importance of cybersecurity solutions that are both secure-by-design and adapted to the needs of modern rail operations. “As cybersecurity threats become more frequent and sophisticated, rail operators require a solution that is tailored to the operational demands of rolling stock. Our partnership with Duagon offers exactly that—a comprehensive, easy-to-deploy solution that protects critical onboard systems without compromising performance or operational continuity,” Shifman stated.
