Saviynt, a top provider of cloud-based identity and governance solutions, has launched a free certification program to address the growing demand for cybersecurity skills and credentials. The move follows a new survey under its Identity Security for the AI Age (ISAA) initiative, which found that 94% of learners believe employers prefer candidates with certifications.
The ISAA certification is designed to give early-career professionals and students practical knowledge in identity security and artificial intelligence (AI). With a focus on real-world skills and emerging technologies like machine learning (ML), the program aims to help close the global cybersecurity talent gap.
Saviynt is also working with universities in India and the U.S., integrating ISAA training into academic courses to prepare students for identity-focused cybersecurity roles. This grassroots approach builds a talent pipeline ready to meet the rising threat landscape.
The ISAA survey collected responses from over 500 recent graduates and early-career professionals, uncovering key insights:
- 69% of respondents already hold cybersecurity certifications, showing ongoing demand for up-to-date training.
- 94% plan to pursue more certifications, reflecting strong belief in the career value of credentials.
- 33% of participants identified as Solutions Specialists, pointing to a need for hands-on, job-ready skills.
- 52% rated the AI/ML content as “extremely relevant” to their career goals.
- 64% said the ISAA certification boosted their confidence in pursuing a cybersecurity career.
“Certifications today are more than just credentials – they help professionals lead in a world where identity is the first line of defense,” said Shankar Ganapathy, Chief Operating Officer at Saviynt. “With free, AI-ready education, we’re not only addressing the skills gap but also giving employers access to verified talent.”
Suraj Krishnaiah, Vice President of Saviynt University, added, “Nearly 60% of cybersecurity professionals say skills gaps are impacting their organization’s safety, according to the 2024 ISC2 study. The ISAA certification addresses this by combining identity security training with AI/ML education. By collaborating with universities, we ensure students are industry-ready from the start.”
The ISAA certification is now available globally, offering a self-paced learning experience for both aspiring professionals and experienced workers looking to upgrade their skills in the age of AI.
