Sparkle has launched its “Quantum Safe over Internet” (QSI) solution on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketplace. Initially introduced through Sparkle’s own sales channels, the QSI solution is designed to protect sensitive data from potential threats posed by quantum computing.
QSI aims to provide secure VPN connectivity between customer sites and cloud providers, safeguarding data against quantum-based attacks that could compromise traditional encryption methods. The solution integrates seamlessly with existing infrastructures, offering enhanced encryption to ensure security and optimal performance.
A standout feature of the QSI solution is its cloud-native, Network as a Service (NaaS) foundation. Customers can manage the service flexibly through a dedicated portal or API, making operations more agile without compromising security. This reflects Sparkle’s focus on simplicity and efficiency.
The effectiveness of QSI was demonstrated in a successful Proof-of-Concept (PoC) involving two AWS regions: Frankfurt and Ireland. In collaboration with AWS and its technology partners, Sparkle showed that secure, quantum-safe VPN tunnels could be maintained across regions, preserving both encryption integrity and performance.
