Carahsoft Technology Corp. has announced a new partnership with cybersecurity firm QuSecure to speed up the rollout of post-quantum cryptography (PQC) solutions across U.S. government agencies.
As part of the agreement, Carahsoft will serve as QuSecure’s Master Government Aggregator, helping federal customers access QuSecure’s flagship platform, QuProtect™, through trusted acquisition channels like SEWP V, ITES-SW2, OMNIA Partners, and the AWS Marketplace.
QuProtect is a flexible cybersecurity platform designed to protect communications and data from a wide range of threats, including those powered by quantum computing, artificial intelligence, and traditional attack methods. The system allows administrators to manage cryptographic settings in line with new standards from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the Quantum Computing Cybersecurity Preparedness Act.
One of QuProtect’s key strengths is its ability to update encryption methods without shutting down systems or disrupting communications. It uses a policy-driven architecture to help agencies transition smoothly to quantum-resilient encryption.
The partnership aims to make it easier for federal agencies to adopt advanced cybersecurity solutions. Agencies can now purchase QuSecure products through Carahsoft’s existing procurement programs, with support from a broad network of integrators and resellers.
This move comes as the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) push federal agencies to prepare for the risks posed by quantum computing. The collaboration reflects growing urgency to secure government systems against future cryptographic threats.
