Check Point Software Technologies has acquired Israeli cybersecurity startup Veriti in a deal valued at more than US$100 million, combining cash and stock. While the exact financial details were not publicly disclosed, the acquisition highlights Check Point’s continued push to expand its threat prevention capabilities.
Veriti, founded in 2021 by Adi Iken and Oren Koren—both former Check Point employees—focuses on Pre-emptive Exposure Management (PEM). Its platform works with existing corporate cybersecurity tools to detect and reduce risks before they can be exploited.
The company currently employs over 30 people. All of Veriti’s staff will transition to Check Point, where they will join the company’s sales and development teams.
With this acquisition, Check Point aims to strengthen its ability to proactively manage security risks for enterprise clients by integrating Veriti’s advanced exposure management technology into its own cybersecurity solutions.
